'07 Saturn Vue

The 2007 Saturn Vue is a gas/electric hybrid. It is different than most hybrids, in that, it can't run on electric only. The electric assists the gasoline engine and makes it more efficient.

The Vue Green Line has a four cylinder gas engine with a battery-powered electric motor. The system self charges the batteries. It only comes with front wheel drive. The V6 engine is available with all wheel drive. You can get the four cylinder engine with manual or automatic transmission, but the V6 and Green Line is only available in an automatic transmission.

Standard on the Green Line and V6 are ABS. Curtain side airbags are optional. Also standard is the OnStar Communication system. The XM Satellite Radio and rear-seat entertainment system comes as an option as well. One of the nice features of the Green Line hybrid is that when the car stops, the engine shuts off. When the brake pedal is released, the engine restarts.

The 2007 Saturn Vue Red Line series is the sportier version of the Vue. Standard on all Vues is cruise control, remote keyless entry, security system and power windows, locks and mirrors. This compact SUV gets 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
