2006 Saturn Vue

Saturn’s first foray into the world of SUV’s, the 2006 Saturn Vue line continues the tradition started by them in 2002. The only difference is that the car does not sport the gearless variable continuous transmission anymore, but comes with a four or five speed auto transmission.

The Red Line is the top end of this series, and promises to deliver a performance based edge to the car, having been designed in the General Motors Performance Division. It is equipped with a 3.5 liter Honda V-6 engine that produces 250 hp, and now all the V-6 Vues use this engine in lieu of the older 3.0 liter engine, which has now been dropped.

This year, the 2006 Saturn Vue sees some nice upgrades as far as the exteriors and interiors are concerned. New headlights, a shiny new grille, dent resistant bumpers, new rocker panels, restyled interior, updated radio design, and aggressive looking wheels are some of the changes made for this year.
